I am in the process of renewing a 1985 RX 7. I am having troubble getting the engine to run smooth. I have done a complete tune-up and replaced the gas. It still runes very rough. What else can I do?

Check for a clogged catalytic converter, or an EGR valve that is packed w/carbon.
Also, has the carb been rebuilt/replaced?

First question...
Is this a 12A, or 13B engine?

Good question! Did they offer both in '85?
I "***-u-me-d" 12A w/carb, of course. I thought FI, and the 13B came in '86?
