Waking up a 1982 RX7 from a winter's nap
OK, I could use some help for my brother. He stores his vintage RX7 in my garage for the winter. It's getting near time to start it up for the spring.
Any opinions on using a shot of starting fluid (ether) in the carb throat? Alternatively, a bit of gas down the carb throat might be another alternative.
The reason is that when it sits for the winter, the carb bowl evaporates and it take forever to draw some gas to get the car to start. Once it fires, it is good for the entire summer.
Comments please.
