Default Rattling shifter

I have an 1986 rx7 non turbo the shifter rattles in all gears any ideas? The car has 130,000 miles and does not vibrate through the steering or seat. Any ideas would help.

The shifter bushings are probably shot.

Default Rattling shifter

I forgot to put in last thread that transmission was rebuilt and a short shifter installed with new bushings. Thank you for your help. Any other ideas?

Check the part that the actual ball on the bottom of the shifter sits into. It is in the trans. It way be wore.
