Default JDM RX-7

hi, im new here, i've been searching for a while, but im not 100% sure, i've been getting some mixed opinions.

anyway, basically a quick question hopefully someone here can answer.

does a JDM (japanese)RX-7 (1992) use the same parts as the north american RX-7 (1993-1996 and up)
some people say it does, since its basically the same car, model, engine, etc, the only difference is that the
driver seat is on the right instead of the left. other's say that its not the same, and the parts, whether performance
or stock have to be imported through a JDM dealership.

so which is, can a JDM 1992 RX-7 use the same performace parts as a 1993-up North American RX-7, or not???

here is a link to give you an idea of the vehicals i'm looking at.
