canadian d.o.t. copliance

I am looking to buy a 3rd gen in the u.s. and import to canada but it needs 5 mph bumpers.Can't find any info on $$$ or difficulty.Any help is appreciated.

are you sure that they didnt make a 3g that was factory compliant??

the canadian models were equipped with 5 mph bumps but i will pay almost 2x more for one here (very rare)
