Back in the game

Well, I have just acquired a 1988 GTU. It has not run since 1996. I got this one pretty cheap & has goodies like Fr 4-piston calipers & a LSD rear end. The body is straight, but the interior will require some work. I will be documenting my rebuild process as I go along.

Sounds like you got a great deal, any pictures yet?

And Wes, you've been awfully quiet about your endeavors lately too?? Don't think I haven't noticed just cause I haven't said anything till now.

Plans so far are for a nice streetported motor, nice suspension & some NOS.

Sheldon,
I'm curious where did you find your 88 GTU? I've been looking(Craigslist and ebay) on and off over the past couple of years for the same car and have come across a few in decent shape but missing engine or tranny or priced way to high for the condition. Craigslist seems to be the best bet for me because I have the ability to look at the car before buying it. Post pics of your GTU when you get a chance.
Vince
