Default Where to find an ECM (BPM3) for a '96 1.8lt AT...

Hi,

This is for a 1996 Mazda Protege ES 1.8lt AT. I've been browsing Ebay and Googleing for an Engine Control Module (ECM):

DENSO
BPM3A
EGI
BPM3 18 881A
079700-6532

But haven't found it. Any ideas where to look it for?

From my search during the weekend, I called numerous junkyards and as soon as I said 1996 they turned me down.

For those who may have the same problem. 96 Mazda Protege came in 4 flavors: 1.5lt and 1.8lt. And for both: Manual, and automatic transmission. So apparently the 1.5 engines came with a Mitsubishi ECM which part number starts with E2T... And 1.8 engines came with a DENSO ECM part number starts with BPM3.

I just called the people of CorkSport.com. They were kind enough to refer me to a junkyard search site (Car-part.com). They even made a search to confirm the availability before writing me back. From a list of 9 possibles, got 4 matches and from those only one could ship. There were 2 from Canada; I didn't know they do not ship electronic to the US. Apparently some law has to do with it.

Well, I got lucky, and finally my ECM is on the mail on its way.
