Default Timming belt please help

i have been screwing with this thing for couple weeks now and i wont start. I just bought car it had trouble starting. a miss on cyl 2 so replaced plug and code came back so we checked timing and belt looked worn. Still had hard start crank and crank 4 like 10 min then it would start. now it wont start and so i figured it jumped timing more. so i bought belt and cant find tdc of cam. i have picts from books and stuff. First with engine at tdc and timing marks on cam lined up with valve cover the belt wont go over cam pulley without moving the motor. so is cam wrong? i need pict of cam lined up with valve gasket like the book says. any help is better then none thanks

when you took the first belt off did you loosen the belt tensioner? cause its recomended to replace that with every timeing belt change.
did any of the gears or anything move when you took the belt off cause you might have to re-align everything
if you take the pully on the bottom of the engine for your accesory belt not the timing belt and crank it two full turns with a wrench the cam gears should line up perfect if they don't the timeing is off

did you get the timing belt back onto the gears? cause when you put them on the belt should fit perfectly into the grooves of the gears and also im guessing one would be hot and one would be ground cause its a live system what kind of coil pack did you buy? just so i can look up the wireing diagram
