I'm in the waning days of my '93. Clutch is bad, pretty much everything that doesn't make it go or stop is broken, and even some of those areas are questionable. I'm looking for a replacement now, but in the meantime I gotta keep driving what I have.

The past few weeks it has hesitated a bit when starting. To me it felt like the battery was weak. I had the battery tested at AZ and it came back with low voltage and replace. So I replaced it this morning in front of the parts store, and drove home to get ready for work. Now the car won't start. Just hums a bit when attempting to start. I tried jumping and same deal. Does this sound like a starter? Car has 265k miles. I've had it since 135k. I'm sure the starter has never been replaced.

 

Replaced the started this morning. Car now starts. Wish I hadn't bought that battery!
