When I start up my 2003 Mazda Protege ES it makes a squealing noise from the front right. This is only when the engine is cold and applying gas, when it is warmed up it goes away. ANy suggestions on what it could be. If it helps narrow it down the alternator is brand new. thank you for any feedback much appreciated.

 

Your drive belts either need replacing &/or adjusting.
