Safest drop?

My girl has a 02 protege. She wants me to drop it but doesnt want to spen the 800$ on coilovers **** i dont blame her. But i also see a problem if you drop these cars too much they dont make camber kits. I hate the stupid alignment bolts that have. So im figuring springs is the best but which size can i get without having my alignment effected. 1.0,1.3,1.5,1.9? If i cant drop this car im selling it. Mazda is retarded lol no offense

I have an mx3 dropped 3+ with minimal camber. if you rotate the tires a little more often you wontvhave the tread wear issue

You have yours dropped 3 inches! Pics? How is the speed bumps and driveway ends treating your car? Guess you don't have many potholes to worry about!

For the street, assuming this is your one and only DD, and that your roads are in average shape, I would go somewhere between stock and 1.5". Any more and you'll begin to have other problems such as blowing struts regularly, and a very bad ride. That gets old after a while, and hard on your back.
Mine is set down about 1.25- 1.3" and you can see from my sig pic how it looks.
That pic was taken the day after the springs/struts were installed. It settled down just a bit more since.
