Default Replacing A/C Condenser 03' Protege

So I need to replace the A/C Condenser in my 2003 Protege this weekend. I've never replaced one on any vehicle before. I was quoted $500 at a few shops so I figured I would just do it myself considering I got the part for only $45, then just take it to the shop to have it recharged.

I am just looking for any tips/guides on the easiest way to remove it and if there are any necessary procedures that need to be done. I looked a few YouTube videos and they said put a little pag oil in the new one? Is the necessary and if so how much? The system is completely empty as it leaked out of the old condenser.

Also I didn't get a new drier, and I've seen a few people say to replace it also, but it's $90 for this vehicle and I would rather skip it if I can?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

to do a good job you need a new dryer. the installation of the condenser is not as complicated as the installation of an evaporator, but i think $500 is a little high.
