Default Replacing the backlighting in Dash...

Alright so I'm making some changes to my 2000 Protege. I recently swapped out the factory deck for an aftermarket stereo and speakers (which work awesome) and I realized a new problem because of this. The backlighting of my AC ***** and the entire spedometer area on the dash are backlit in green when I turn on the headlights. However, my stereo is lit in blue.

When we were installing the Viper system into the car we took apart the dash and I made a point to examine the spedometer- and I see that back there are several bulbs which I could probably replace. My question, though, is:

Does anyone know if these bulbs are what causes the backlighting to be green? Or is there a coverslip that is green so it lights up green when the bulbs are lit?

Any input would be great. Thanks

there just normal bulbs its the cover inside the spedometer that show's your mpg/kpg and all of that, that is green you would have to replace that cover, same goes with the ac controls its the actual controls that a green not the light. you can go to gaugehut.com or podhut or something close to that and have one made but honestly its not worth it they want like $80 for it
