I want to replace a leaking pan gasket on my 01 protege, but I can't get to the bolts on the drivers side end of the pan. These seem to be covered by a transmission bracket. Are there any procedures on how to get to these bolts? Do I have to remove the trans bracket and put in a temporary support? Any ideas would be appreciated...
