Default Relay

I am looking for a main relay for my 91 protege. I called napa they said 55 bucks on special order. I thought that was high. Then I called the dealership and they said 77 bucks... I was like WHAT...

Can someone tell me why their is a difference in price and where I should try getting one for cheaper other than the pick a part.

Default RE: Relay

The difference in price is due to the fact that the part from the dealer is OEM and from NAPA it is aftermarket. I'm sure they are comprable quality. I looked it up at Parts America and they sell it for $48.88. If this is too much, it looks like you will be going to the salvage yard.

The reason also for a price difference is that we live in a free market society and shops can charge what they want, dosen't mean you have to buy from them. This is the same reason the price of gas is not the same at every gas station.
