My CD-radio stopped working. I have removed it. Looks like my tape deck is broken/jammed with a piece of a tape.
I am told that they both work as a unit.
I would like to replace the radio first to see if the tape deck will work.
If not, I will have to remove the tape deck also and replace both.

How do I remove the tape deck, now that the radio is out ?

 

What year Protege do you have?? Later Proteges have modular audio systems so you can add or remove CD decks, 6 disc changers, Cassette and even a minidisc players.
