Radio fuse keep blowing !
I have a Protege 2001 in which the radio completely died recently, and found out that the fuse had blown. When replaced, it kept blowing. So I removed the radio unit and disconnected the wiring harness. Still, when replaced, the fuse kept blowing. So it's obviously not the unit, but somewhere along the wiring harness.
No recent work or modification was done on the car, so something just decided to fail...
Any idea on the best way to troubleshoot where the failure can be located ? I would like to have a look myself before taking it to the dealer.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks

i had to switch to a 25 fuse to keep it from blowing. there has been nothing wrong since then and my radio actually seems louder than before. if the fuse continues to blow after you switch to a 25, there is probably a short.
