Default Protege5 Fog Light Bulbs

One of my Daughter's 2002 Protege5 fog lights is burned out. I bought a new bulb, but I can't tell for the life of me how to change it! There is almost no room around the back of the light, no obvious way to remove the bulb from back there, no screws on the front, nothing!

HELP!!!!!!

you have to pull the bumper off. not that big of a deal, just several bolts and then there are two tabs one by each headlight that will need to pulled on kind of hard to get the clip off. the only reason i know is because i put a aftermarket bumper on my 5 series

Wouldn't you love to know who engineers these things? I'm currently replacing the heater core in my Dakota pickup, and you have to remove the entire dashboard just to get to where the heater is (then there is a bunch of other stuff you have to take off to actually get the core out). Geez!!!

Thanks for the help

Steve

That right!!!... i did it a couple times all ready!!!!... it easy!. Just go under the bumper and just look for a litter bit... o nut (one ajust angle of the fog light and the bigone loose the all fog light!.. after that, take the light out the black cover and between the cover and the light ... you will find the light socket... really easy!!!!. PD: if you loose all the wires could be faster reaplecement... takecare..bye
