Unhappy protege won't start in cold

Hey Guys, I have a 2000 Mazda Protégé LX, 148K. For some reason the car will not start if it is 20 degrees or below? Does anyone have a clue what might be wrong? I just bought a new battery and alternator, but still come across this issue. It seems like if I start the car at least every 2 hours the car will have no issues, but if it I more than 4 hours than it hesitates to start. Can this be something with the Fuel system or distributor?

Good keys to ease of start in cold weather: synthetic oil, really good spark.

To get really good spark: your plugs, wires and especially ign coils need to be changed. Your car is old, and your probably not getting enough spark.

Another thing is that your old injector seals may be starting to leak and/or injectors are not spraying properly.

Put some of this in fuel tank as well: http://www.redlineoil.com/product.aspx?pid=80&pcid=12
