I'm Aj I'm new to the site.
First off I drive a 2000 protege with a swap engine out of a 01 protege (2.0L)

I have a major problem with my protege.
I was driving the other day and I shut off my car, a little bit later I get back in it and start it up and I started to hear a nasty knocking sound.

I brought it to my guy and he said my timing belt is deffenetly screwed. Then I found out that I'm misfiring 1,3,4.

I bought the car not knowing all these problems were going to happen.
The guy who I bought it from totally tried to make this car a race car. Lol.

When I step on the gas it sounds like its fine, but that's only sometimes. At othertimes I step on the gas and it hesatates.

So if anyone can help me ASAP that would be great.

sounds like you just need new coil packs, wires and spark plugs
