Hello all, I new in this forum, I have a protege 94 SOH automatic, the car goes fine but when has a some time working I think that some thing it warms because the idle speed down and up when I stop on a corner or a light.after some seconds the speed stops. the car doesn't stop of work, but if I turn off the car and I try of star the car these turn on but the speed up and down and the car stops. Thenthe car doesn't turn on, some times intent star but doesn't can. I need wait aprox 15-30 minutes and the car turn on, this only occur when the car is hot or when stop at some parts. I hope you comments, Thank you.

I continue having problems. I changed the spark, cover of distributor and rotor, wires, coolant temperature sensor, air filter, fuel filter but doesn't chane anything, I hope that some one can help me, thank you.

Have u clean your throttle body? Have your engine timing check too. Wrong engine timing might cause misfiring too. Throttle Positioning Sensor suspected too,check it with a diagnostic machine to confirm it. Hope my info might help u...

 

I can almost guarantee you need a new distributor buddy. Don't get a rebuild!! get a true Mazda part
