Default Problems after timing belt replacement

I took my 02 Protege5 in for a new timing belt on Friday, and they also replaced the drive belt for the A/C, radiator hose, thermostat, and drive belt for the water pump. The car sounded OK when I picked it up, but by the time I got home - after a 45 minute expressway drive - I heard a loud ticking/clicking noise. I opened the hood and the noise is coming from the side of the engine where the timing belt is located.

Of course they're closed over the weekend and on Monday for Labor Day, so I was going to call them Tuesday morning and see what they say. The brought it to them to for the work to be done because they've worked on my parent's cars for years and have always done good work. There's a Mazda dealer a few miles away from me so I'm not sure if I'll take it there and send the other mechanic the bill, or have it towed to the mechanic that did the work in the first place...not sure if I can drive it all the way down there in the condition it's in.

Any ideas what the problem might be? Is it OK to drive the car like this?
