Default Pre-Cat location on 2003 MazdaSpeed protege

I ordered pre cat for the 2003 mazdaspeed protege, and when i got it today, the cat does not look anything like what i have under the car. The exhaust manifold has an opening for the o2 sensor in front of the engine, then it follows down to the turbocharger, and then it bends around to the exhaust pipe to what looks like a cat but this has 2 rusty bolts with springs and then it continues on to another "resonator" which then has a downstream o2 sensor. the part I have has 3 bolts or holes on one side, and 5 bolts (holes) on the other. Nothing under the car looks like this. Is it possible that the exhaust has a custom universal fit cat which is welded on? I've got a p0421 on bank one. The videos on youtube show a NA protege but the Mazdaspeed turbo does not look anything like the protege as far and the cat is concerned. The part I bought is:
