On a 96 Protege DX with power door locks and windows, all of a sudden, all of the power windows EXCEPT the driver door have stopped working ... They will not go up/down from driver door switch, nor from the individul switches on the other 3 doors. I checked fuses under dash and the fuses look good ... A meter probe of fuses with the key turned on also showed current flowing through fuses ... I took off the door panel and verified power flowing on main line to window switch ... had to stop there for the day ... My question is, is the switch also a junction for routing power to all other windows? Or, does the switch merely provide a ground and current is delivered directly to the other switches when the key is turned on ... I will continue to troubleshoot this tomorrow, and any comments or suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance ... Steven

 

Bonehead move of the day ... Did you check the window lock switch setting on the master switch ??? I did after I removed the door panel !
