Pesky air bag light
Hi all newbie here. I have a Protege with the dreaded red light blinking. Looks like #73. Wtf I can find a definition for that code anywhere is it a government secret 🤯. Also put my otc ob2 code reader no dtc,s. The yellow dtc light was on before I put a new battery in it. The red air bag light too. Also my otc is acting funny going off and on not communicating with the car. When it is communicating have to manually enter the car. Maybe my tester is getting old?😎
Hi all, while I was gone I managed to find some air bag code definition🤔
. MAYBE be a #7 (passenger air bag module) and #3 less than
9V. to the module. I did have to replace the battery recently. I went through the connectors under the seats (WD-40😎
the light is out now😀
.Maybe the codes read in the order they happened. I also read somewhere about clearing past malfunction codes 🤔
. I’ll have to try and find it. I’ll let everybody know I hope this helps someone out. Thanks.
