Default My fuel pump is dead? HELP ME NOW.

1995 Protege LX 1.5L Automatic... 65xxx miles.

Ok. So. I have spark. I have compression. My fuses are good, my MAF is clean. There was no fuel squirting at the intake, there was no fuel squirting at the filter...

The only thing I don't know is whether I'm getting power to my pump. However I don't hear it whine, so I think I know that is what my problem is.

What is the easiest place to check for power? Where is the most accesible place?

And if I have to replace the pump, is Mazda smart and put an access door.. or am I going to be really angry? If I'm going to get angry.. please tell me the easiest way to replace it. LOL.

Sorry- I know I sound bitter.. but.. ghrrrrrrrrr.
