I can not hear the fuel pump but have gas up front with no issue, but hear a buzzing under the hood with the key in the ON position.
Even with a little fuel I should still get some type of putt right? And im getting fuel doesnt seem excessive until I keep cranking on it. Thats why im not thinking its fuel related.
I rented a cheapo scanner and will look tonight to see what it says, fingers crossed :/

Check engine light has been on for the last 50k+ miles, when I last scanned it, it pointed to oxygen sensor, replaced sensor and still came on so rode since then with no issues. Im hoping a new code is in tonight

Im not familiar with EGR/Map why not change, not critical to starting??

they are but if a avcume hose is loose or a wire comes loose, the code will come up for a sensor but its because something else came loose but the sensor is still good. the code tells you what SYSTEM isnt working correctly. an oxyen sensor code could mean alot of things fuel related but wont be the acual sensor. i had an EGR code on my 96 blazer so i spent 120 buks on a new EGR valve and it still ran like crap.turns out, chunks of carbon had come loose and held the valve open, i cleaned the old one and put it back in and SEA FOAMED it every year and runs great.im out of ideas.hard to tell when your not there.

Update OK- had to take to precision tune since I was at a total loss on what to check next...
Compression is 20psi on 2 and supposedly the other 2 cylinders were 10psi. Looks like car is garbage. I wonder if trying to start when it was frozen could have caused this? I also know the car burned oil and sometimes it got right below the low mark a couple times (figuring this caused it)
