The new Mazdaspeed3 will have 300 horsepower with only one mod...CAI. With that said, the quote I love is: "280 pound-feet of torque @ 3000, 0-60 in 5.6 seconds, top speed of 155. Reads more like th resume of the 45k BMW or Audi sport sedan than a 23k Mazda Hatchback" All I can say is wow! Anyone want to buy my 02 Protege 5? Anyone that thinks the WRX is better need just read the review in the November Motortrend. It outperforms it in almost every way! Only 5000 a year stateside means probably overpriced and hard to find. I just wish I had one now...Dreaming for now...Owning for later...EvilNiXXXoN out.

 

Not overpriced. The base model is in the 22,000 dollar range. For the amount of performance and safty equipment that comes stock in that car that price is chump change.
