Hi guys merry Xmas I'm new here to the mazda world I have a 2001 mp3 it's stuck in gear I put it in nuturel and it's still stuck but I can get 2 & 3 that's all so please help

 

Does it make a difference if the engine is running or not?

 

If it's running I have to keep the clutch pressed in even thou the shifert is in netura otherwise it moves but when the car is off I can go throu all the gears freely

 

Sound very much like your clutch is on it's last legs.

 

So it's not the gear box that's messed up?

 

From what you have said & described, & without being there in person to roadtest your car it sounds very much like a clutch issue.

Could be the activation of the clutch ( Cable or hydraulic) but I'm leaning towards a worn out clutch assembly.

Question can a tranny from a 2.5 engine fit my 2.0 engine the 2.5 is from the ford probe v6 can it fit my 2.0 4 cylinder
