Default Just got my '99 Protege!

Its a '99 lx 1.6L. 91k on the odometer. I just got it from Carmax (not a bad bunch) and got a 3 yeak 36k mile term on anything thats not rubber. The engine sounds good and has power. It didnt seem unusually weak.

Anyways. It does have the rattle at idle problem. I'm looking into the motor mounts and I'll check to see if the fuel filter was replaced. I have 30 day free waranty on it and I want to find anything wrong with it. What should I be checking?

Thanks. [8D]

Ford transmissions are not the smoothest. Also have them check the Idle Air control valve.

1.vacuum leaks
2. clogged EGR passages or stuck EGR valve
3. dirty MAF sensor
