I have a 2002 Mazda Protege and was wondering if anyone knew how to change the bulb for the illumination behind the heat and a/c *****. And also if its even possible to change the one behind the dash.

 

I got the everything apart and it looks like its a piece of plastic that makes the color not a lightbulb. I am going to try and make a new piece of plastic or ill just put 2 LEDs inside it and take out the stock bulbs. As for the dash i couldnt get the piece clear plastic off that covers the whole area. So unless someone else knows how to do it im going to just leave it alone.
