I've been working on this lift kit for the past 2 or so weeks and thought I'd make a post here to share! I bought this car from my aunt for 200$ as a gambler car to compete in the Rocky Mountain Rambler 500. It has 188K miles, 5 speed manual, 2.0 liter, and drives like a dream. I'm posting this week's after finishing the gambler and so far the car has no AC or power steering, gutted the trunk and partial interior, has a 32" light bar on roof and 6 pod lights mounted up front, front and rear bumpers are removed, fenders are removed, I built a 3" snorkel/cold air intake, poly motor mounts, upgraded shift linkage and bushings, and a ton of maintenance done. But by far my favorite thing I've built for this has got to be the 2" lift kit I welded up. I never would've thought a lifted protege with no sway bars would be so much fun. The protege Is on some 14" e30 bottlecaps right now but I plan on fitting 31s and gaining a total of 4-5 inches of lift. If anyone has any comments or insights I'd greatly appreciate it! I'll add some pics of the lift kit too, and update with car pics tomorrow
