Default Hooking up a Tach to 1996 Protege

Ok so maybe I'm just incompetent. I'm trying to find the tach signal wire on my car.
Every thing i come across says white wire on distributor. Great right? No.

So looking on the distributor there are 4 harnesses on it and 3 out of 4 of them have a white wire. Which one is it? Does anyone know?

There are two harness under the distributor cap and one on top and one on the back side.

Harness underneath has 4 wires each (one of these connects to the o2 sensor i believe)
Top harness has lik 7-8 wires
Backside (connects straight into distributor cap) 3 wires - Car doesnt turnover when this one is disconnected but tries to start.

Any help is appreciated.
also anyone know of a good way to push a wire through the existing hole for the firewall?
