Help on Timing Crankshaft Gear
I an trying to change the crankshaft seal on a 1999 Mazda Protege 1.6, got all the way to timing gear and I can not remove it. The keyway will not come out also.
Cant use a gear puller, because you can not get behind the gear.
Try to pry it off slowly, but broke part of the lip on the gear.
Used heat, still couldnt get off.
Any suggestions?
