Help...my mazda protege5 is lagging big time!!
Hey there somebody...
Ok...so I have an 02' mazda protege5 and its in great shape!! I have made a few mods to the engine they are : Greddy catback exhaust, OBX header, AEM cold air intake, unorthodox racing underdrive pulley, optima battery...and the car is running great...EXCEPT...it is lagging once an awhile and it is super annoying!! The car is flowing so well that we replaced the O2 sensors and that did the trick sort of with the check engine light coming on...but it seems to idle a little rough (like 700 rpm) and then at moments it drops to 2 or 300 rpm and almost dies unless I give it some gas. Any thoughts on what might be happening?? When it is operating properly it responds great and does not lag at all...let me know what some of you think....
