Heater control switch

Default Heater control switch

I was wondering if I messed with the heater control switch wire would it have an affect on my car not blowing out hot air when it's on the hot section?

If it's the cable that controls the hot/cold blend door, then yes. If it's the electric wire that controls blower motor speed, then no.
