I've been dealing with a problem with my 2003 Protege 5 for several months.

I needed to get my emissions test, but it kept telling them there were three "not ready" statuses so they were unable to test it.

I kept hearing from the dealer, local shops, websites to keep driving it and they will eventually change to "ready". I've driven about 900 miles and still keep getting 3 not ready statuses.

This is all with no CEL. The Mazda dealer had me replace the Mass Airflow Sensor. They said that was a good place to start because they said it was broken, and they're not sure whey i'm not get a CEL.

Well they installed the new Mass Airflow Sensor and still its not ready.
I haven't taken it back yet, because they'll probably just make me get sensors for everything or a new computer.

Any Ideas? Has anyone come across this problem before?
