I'm having trouble finding the "gear keepers" for holding the gears while the new clutch kit is installed. Parts store guys look confused.

I suspect I could use the correct sized dowel. Does anyone know of the size dowel I would need or where to find the two keepers at any parts store in Seattle, Washington area?
