i cahange the cat convertor but i have the same problem. I put the car in D the car jerks like is going in to 1st gear and after staright to 2nd gear and remains there. is not shifting the gears!!!!! this is on and of. i cleand the MAF sensor but the same problem. can somebody help me please!!!!??????

Check if there's no damage in your transmission. As with my experience, my car only goes in D after I set the cruise control and only on a leveled highway. My friend also told me never let the trans shift into 4th gear under hard accelleration.
