I’ve got a 99 Protège LX(1.6L inline 4) and today I changed the oil. After my test drive everything I opened up the hood to make sure my oil was in a good spot after the test drive, y’a know as one should. However after I opened the hood and did my check I noticed a slight stream of smoke, kinda like exhaust some, coming from the engine. At first I thought it was smoke from some oil I had accidentally spilled on the exhaust cover but then I realized that it was to much to be caused by that. So I crawled under my car slightly and looked under the car and found the some coming from what the image shows. I’m pretty sure it’s part of the exhaust but I don’t wanna go wrenching on something like about which I have no clue. So if anybody knows what part this is that’d be super helpful to figure out what’s wrong.
