Hi,

I own 1995 Mazda Protege DX 1.5L. Lately, if i start the car, i have to push the accelerator a few times before the car runs normal. Most the time, when i made a quick stop like in the traffic light, and started the car again after that, the car engine seems hesitate and the accelerator seems chuggling. I brought to a car mechanic, he told me he couldn't inspect it fully with the OBD tool because my engine light isn't on in the dashboard. So, he made a prediction, the air flow meter needed to be replaced.

So, i need the experts here to advice. Does my car air flow meter really cause this problem? Are anyone here now where i can find and buy used air flow meter for my Mazda in Dallas, TX area. I live in this area anyway. Thank you.
