I have this strange problem with acceleration, typically from a stop. It doesn't happen every time, but I'll get this rhythmic hesitation, like I'm pumping the accelerator. If I let off completely then depress the pedal again most of the time it resolves. Does anyone know what this could be?

try cleaning the mass flow air sensor maybe its dirty and the computer can't read the air, or try cleaning the throttle body it might be dirty but thats where i would start.
