Question 98 Protege Brake Light

I'm having a problem with my 98 Protege Rear right brake light. All of the other lights (front and rear) are just fine. This one is out. I've changed the light bulb, but it's still out.

I think my next step is to replace the fuse, but I'm not sure where the fuse is. Any help would be appreciated.

Thx.

Your brake lights are on the same circuit, so it's not the fuse. If you're sure the replacement bulb is OK, it's the local socket, connector, ground, or wiring related.
