96 Protege w only 50K gets "P0320" code (cylinder 2 misfire)
HI all,
so i got this 96 protege LX w 1.8 given to me. it was grandpas car driving to church every sunday literally. only 50K miles.
so its my sons car...its been running great.. until all of sudden got P0302 code. cyclinder 2 misfire. and it ran rough
So, i replaced the wired, cap, rotor, plugs and all fuel injectors.
now the car runs smooth.. UNTIL IT HEATS UP.... then the engine light comes back on and it runs rough.
let it cool overnight and it starts up and runs good...for a few miles then engine light and runs rough.
??
ANY THOUGHT OR HELP APPRECIATED. thx thx thx!

i do have a compression tester.
it was 150PSI on all cylinders. COLD (i will do hot later)
QUESTION: how do i do a "leak down" test?? (im guessing you're referring to seeing if the cylinder can HOLD pressure for a certian amount of time)
thx thx thx
