I have a 95 protege lx 1.5L. My engine will not turn over at all and there isn't any clicking from the starter. The battery is just over a year old and a jump start does not get it started. It is a manual so a push start does get it running. Runs fine once started. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

i think you need a new starter it sounds like you have a dull spot in your starter
