Default 95 Mazda Protege 1.5L: Fuel Pump Won't Come On

Hi everyone, I have a 1995 mazda protege dx 1.5L automatic, I can't seem to find the problem in getting the fuel pump to come on. I have checked all the fuses inside the car and under the hood. All are ok, I ohm tested the fuel pump and its in passing condition as well. I have great compression, new distributor, wires, plugs, head gasket, fuel pump relay, crank shaft sensor, and transmission. I did, however, put in a used ignition switch, could this be the problem? I heard that possibly the wires on the back of the ignition switch could be bad causing the fuel pump to not come on while in the 'Start' position. Need answers asap! Thank you for your help!
