Default 1999 Mazda Protege LX hardware modification Help

I'm new here to the forums, so just saying hi. And i thought that you guys could help me with one of my projects. My Mazda has over 205000 miles on it, and still running fairly strong. My project consists of a micro-controller computer (Arduino) with interface to the cars electronics systems, Fuel, RPM, Speed, Temps, etc.. I have my computer built, and i integrated it into the dash using the old cubby compartment that was falling apart anyway, and i got a DB9 connector on the backside for connections to the system. So ive gotten thus far. But now i am encountering a new problem. Where are the schematics for the dash wiring harness? I have found it up under the steering column but my search for information pertaining to which color wire is for what item is baffling me. Ive searched through my public library's 1999 import Chilton manual but it doesn't contain anything but the shop information for the engine. Can anyone point me into the right direction? I would love to have this up and running. Got so many ideas for this. Oh and by the way, would anyone recommend me getting the ODB2 Bluetooth connector off of ebay? Id love to be able to read those codes and put them on the LCD screen.
