Hi there all I have a 1997 mazda protege LX with the 1.5 liter. It has cruise control, air bag, manual transmission, power windows, door locks and mirrors.

Just the other day the the windshield wipers started acting up, intermittent is not working just slow speed and fast speed, and if I turn the wipers off they do not return to their normal low position, they just stop right there.

I was wondering if any of you guys have any ideas of what might be wrong here is it a relay? or is the wiper switch bad?

it think thats your relay it would make sense cause only some of the functions work but not all of them you could have a few burned out parts in the chip just go to a auto wreaker and get a relay off a car
