1996 Mazda Protege LX

Passenger side window will not work.

1. Switch on master control panel very loose, no tension, assume it's broke
2. All other windows work from control panel
3. Passenger side switch which does have tension does not open window either.

I am waiting for my new master power window switch to be delivered but I'm starting to think this may not solve the problem since the passenger side switch will not open/close window either.

Can anyone provide any thoughts on this.

You could measure the resistance in the regulator motor and test the switches using a multimeter.
