02 Protege5 Auto Trans Coolant Hoses
Had to replace the radiator today at 199,650 miles. Found suitable replacement at O'Reilly including upper and lower hoses. However, no source could be found for the two Transmission Coolant Hoses. The local Mazda dealership didn't even show them on their drawings when given the VIN. Ended up purchasing generic rubber hoses with proper diameter and cutting them to fit.

You should post pictures of your hose project for other members in the same situation as you had.
Auto manufactures are only required to manufacture replacement parts for 10 years of each model they produce. After which its dealership stock on what they have NIB (New In Box) and discontinued stock offered from outside the dealership sellers.

Sometimes asking to go back behind the parts counter in the stock room and looking at the stock of radiator hoses and finding a close match and doing a little cut to fit has been going on for decades.... like 40 + years.
There is also universal radiator hose that can also work really well . But in this world of got to find it on the internet means getting off your **** driving to an auto parts store and finding one. Wow what a concept. LOLr
